Research Day

Friday, November 6, 2025
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Each year, on the first Friday in November, MUSC holds its annual Perry V. Halushka Research Day. Research Day serves as a showcase for the breadth and impact of research being conducted across the institution and is a time when the university comes together to celebrate its research mission, discoveries and innovators.

Research Day highlights the outstanding work of MUSC students, trainees, postdoctoral scholars, and residents, through scientific presentations, scholarly discussions and the opportunity to receive constructive criticism.

What's New in 2026

Research Day will feature several exciting updates in 2026.

• A revised abstract and presentation submission process
• A new review process and selection format led by each College's Research Day Committee
• Expanded opportunities to showcase research across disciplines
• A new Networking Cocktail Hour, offering the chance to connect with colleagues, mentors, research collaborators and industry partners

Whether you are presenting your work, exploring new collaborations, or learning about groundbreaking discoveries across campus, Research Day promises to be an engaging and rewarding experience.

Join us on November 6 as we celebrate the innovation, discovery, and research excellence that drive MUSC forward.

Additional details regarding abstract submissions, presentation categories, deadlines and event activities will be shared by your college's Research Day Committee in the coming months.
